Product Detail:	The Blook gel illumination system for the visualisation of DNA gels stained with ethidium bromide or alternatives such as NovelJuice (cat no LD001). This CE marked Blue Light LED system is more reliable than UV lamp transilluminators as the LEDs have a life time of 30,000 hours of continual use. The unit also includes an Amber filter to allow visualisation of the gel whilst protecting the eyes. The Blook has no external powerpack and takes up a minimal amount of bench space. Plus it is so light it can be stored on a standard lab shelf easily when not in use.
