• Reduced background problems associated with naturally occurring anti-mammalian antibodies (HAMA, RF, etc), thus, reducing false positive reactions.
  
• Reduced interference associated with complement activation. The human complement system is not activated by chicken antibodies.
  
• Do not bind to the IgG class Fc receptor. This is a distinct advantage when performing cell surface protein analysis.
