The MaxSignal® Melamine Enzymatic Assay Kit, based on Bioo Scientific’s proprietary technology, is a rapid colorimetric enzymatic assay for the determination of melamine contamination in food, feed and pharmaceutical ingredients.

This reliable yet highly flexible kit incorporates a rapid, inexpensive extraction method that does not require expensive mass spectrometry equipment or time-consuming immunoassay techniques, which are characteristic of other melamine detection methods.

The MaxSignal® Melamine Enzymatic Assay Kit uses a direct enzymatic reaction to determine the amount of melamine in samples, which is faster than ELISA-based analysis. The simple extraction and detection method allows the analysis (including sample preparation and detection) of 42 samples in duplicate in as little as 60 minutes without the use of expensive instrumentation.

The MaxSignal® Melamine Enzymatic Assay Kit is ideal for high throughput detection of unsafe levels of melamine, saving both money and time compared to other screening methods.

The kit includes validated sample prep techniques for detection of melamine in milk and soy products and protocols are now in development for other sample types including pharmaceutical excipients and other components.
