Mounting Media

ImmunoBioScience (IBSC) Corp's range of mounting media has been developed to help preserve your valuable stained tissues.

 

Fluoroshield - An aqueous medium for preserving fluorescence of tissue and cell smears and available in antifade and dapi formulations.

 

ImmunoHistoMount - A permanent aqueous mounting medium.

 

Organo (Limonene) Mount - Made with a natural product taken from orange peels, Organo is ideal for preserving tissues and cell smears that may be dehydrated if organic solvents are used.

Hematoxylin, Immuno/Histo aqueous

This uniquely formulated immuno/histo hematoxylin is an excellent counterstain for immunohistochemistry (IHC) and histochemistry staining of nuclei.

 

  • As an aqueous solution it does not contain alcohol or mercury compounds.
  • Bright blue color is stable for 2-3 years if kept in the dark.
  • Can be used with HRP chromogens, AEC, DAB and alkaline phosphatase chromogens, fast red, BCIP/INT and super fast red (also available from IBSC).
  • Suitable for H&E staining in histology. Slides stained with this hematoxylin can be mounted with aqueous or organic mounting media.
  • It is provided "ready to use" and is stored at room temperature.
