Genemed Biotechnologies
Antibodies, kits and reagents for immunohistochemistry (IHC)
|
Genemed's primary antibodies have been optimised and titrated for immunohistochemistry (IHC) testing on human formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections. Most antibodies are also CE marked so they can be used for diagnostic purposes.
Genemed also provide detection reagents, pap pens and related IHC reagents.
Genemed primary antibodies are provided in liquid form and are available both as concentrated 1ml vials or in a ready to use format.
Detailed product descriptions with dilution factors, pre-treatment conditions, positive control tissues and further information are provided on each product specification sheet. |

During IHC staining, it is usually necessary to wipe off the liquid around a tissue section to reduce dilution of the next reagent applied to the specimen. This is a time-consuming and tedious process that can be avoided by using a PAP pen.
Simply draw a circle around your section with the PAP Pen to provide a water-repellent, alcohol- and acetone-insoluble barrier to liquids, such as antibody, enzyme, chromogen solution etc. This keeps liquids in place reducing the volume of reagent required and saves time by eliminating the need for wiping off liquid around sections between steps of the staining procedure. It also provides more uniform staining results.
The PAP Pen is well-suited for use on most types of coated and uncoated microscope slides.
