Bioo Scientific produces a complete line of kits to test for toxins, drug residues and other contaminants in food stuffs and pharmaceutical ingredients.
Examples are given below or follow this link for the full list of MaxSignal kits with further information and pricing.
The MaxSignal® Sulfamethoxazole ELISA Test Kit is a competitive enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative analysis of sulfamethoxazole (SMX) in fish, shrimp, honey, kidney, liver, meat (beef, chicken and pork), milk, milk powder, serum, urine and water. Sulfonamides are widely used as feed additives and in veterinary medicine. Therefore residues may occur in food of animal origin. According to EU-Law, Sulfamethoxazole has a maximum residue limit of 100 ppb in muscle, fat, liver, kidney and milk.

The MaxSignal® Malachite Green/LMG ELISA Test Kit is designed for routine screening for Malachite Green/Leucomalachite Green in fish, shrimp, fish/shrimp feed, fish oil and water samples of fish farms or fishponds.
In addition the MaxSignal® Malachite Green Test Kit (Water Sample) is a column-based separation method for rapid qualitative and quantitative analysis of Malachite Green in water samples of fishbowls or fishponds. It provides a rapid qualitative Malachite Green detection method and a simple spectrophotometrically quantitative detection method with a sensitive detection limit of 1 - 4 ppb (ng/mL) for water samples. Prepared samples can then be directly used for liquid chromatography confirmation if required.

The MaxSignal® Melamine Enzymatic Assay Kit is a rapid colorimetric assay for the determination of melamine in milk, milk powder, infant formula, soy milk, and other food samples. This kit uses a melamine-specific enzyme to selectively convert melamine to ammonia. The ammonia product is then detected using a simple colorimetric procedure, thereby measuring the amount of melamine initially present in the sample
