Agrisera is a specialist manufacturer of primary antibodies with a particular emphasis on antibodies for plant science.

Their plant antibody range includes antibodies against algal and plant antigens with a particular focus on plant cellular compartments, antibodies for research in environmental stress, nitrogen metabolism and photosynthesis.

• Reduced background problems associated with naturally occurring anti-mammalian antibodies (HAMA, RF, etc), thus, reducing false positive reactions.
  
• Reduced interference associated with complement activation. The human complement system is not activated by chicken antibodies.

Heat shock proteins (HSP) are a class of proteins whose expression is increased when cells are exposed to stress, such as elevated temperatures.

HSPs are found in all living organisms, from bacteria to plants to humans and the transcriptional upregulation of heat shock proteins is a key part of the heat shock response which is induced primarily by heat shock factor (HSF).
